After such a packed weekend, I have little to show on my stitching. I did however enjoy a trip out to Winchester University that has a very impressive Student Union - clearly the most important part! I got to know a little bit more about the course I'm thinking of studying too, so that was a bonus. The fair was fun too, but it would have been better if the sun was shining. Still, we ate hamburgers and won on some of the tombolas so it was a nice day out. But since I've been so busy, there is only a small amount of progress on Charlie . . . (apologies for the angle of the picture, I was trying to avoid casting a shadow!)
I do, however, have three sessions of babysitting this week so will hopefully get much more done in that time. Although, I might have to replace some of my stitching time with some revision, since the first exam is only a week away! I'm quite lucky though because most of my exams are fairly spread out - I've only got one in the first week of study leave :)But yes, since I am soon to be taking my AS level exams, I'm afraid my stitching will suffer. Hopefully I will have a decent progress report by Sunday.
I hope you all have a wonderful week,

Good luck with your exams! Don't worry about the lack of stitching time - you'll have plenty time in the summer!
I went to look around Winchester Uni with my eldest daughter the other year, when she was choosing where to go. I thought it was a lovely University, in a lovely city, but my daughter didn't like the modules on the specific course she was looking at...She is now at Swansea Uni...
Good luck with the exams. Stitching will be a nice break between revision sessions. At least you have started revising I'm not sure some of my AS Level students have and their Biology exam is on 8 June! As Mrs B says you'll have plenty of time for stitching in the summer. Mind you the next job, after AS Levels is sorting out the UCAS personal statement. I'm Head of Sixth Form in my school so if you need any help you know where to find me.
Hi Bekca, The Drawn Thread Autumn Arbor on my blog is stitched in one strand of silk. The ones used are NPIs (Needlepoint Inc)and Gloriana. I got all four arbors as kits, fabric, beads, silk from The Nimble Thimble in Wales they were just under £20 each.
