A Finished Gift

My my, it has been awhile since I last posted! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way to me; time is flying by. So much has been going on recently at school and in my social life that I just can't wait for summer so that the whirlwind will stop. My mum is always telling me to slow down and make time to rest, but I always like to get involved with anything going on in the school. I think after the next fortnight, things will calm down considerably. I have managed to finish my latest design though. Ta-daaa!

This was a sweet little piece to stitch up since it only required a few colours. The design was from CrossStitcher magazine and came at the perfect time for me to use to give to my Drama teacher. I have bought the frame and mount so we just need to add our own messages to the mount board, and then the gift will be ready! I was thinking about also gifting my teacher with some chocolate too, but after the recent weather, I don't think that's a good plan.
The hot weather is brilliant during the day, since we get to sunbathe in our free periods at school. It's horrible at night though, too humid and sticky. But according to Mr Weatherman, it should start to cool down soon enough. Yay!

Have a wonderful week,

I can't tell you how wonderful it is to see a teenage girl cross stitching. Your piece is just wonderful and I know that your teacher will love it!
